Franck Labeyrie has the characteristic to age his wines in natural environments. …after have done it in the sea, in the Arcachon Bay…he started it again in the Snow!
The maturation of this wine, Graves white A.O.C. Château de Lugey, has been made during 6 months under several meters of snow at approximately 2500 meters of altitude at the summit of Cauterets’ ski resort, in French Pyrenees. Wine boxes being carried by helicopter.
Oenologists agree to say that this new maturation reveals “mineral notes” and “a new complexity” to this wine; what make of it an even more unique, exceptional and original wine.
On top of that, the bottle has a singular and stylish label, changing of colour in motion.
Deep and shiny color.
Aromas of citrus fruits (grapefruit, peach,…).
